Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Beyz, operated by Berat Berkay Gökdemir (“Beyz,” “we,” “us” or “our”), handles information when you use the Beyz iOS application, website and related services.

Beyz is a digital wardrobe and outfit planning service. The app does not require a traditional user account, but it assigns an installation identifier so subscriptions, purchases, usage allowances and service operations can work securely.

2. Data we collect

Content you provide

We process wardrobe photos and related style prompts or wardrobe details that you choose to submit. Your wardrobe catalog is primarily stored on your device.

Identifiers and purchase information

We process an assigned installation or user identifier, subscription status, product purchased, entitlement state, usage allowance and transaction-related identifiers. We do not access advertising identifiers. Apple processes your payment details; we do not receive your card or bank information.

Location and weather

If you choose to enable weather-aware suggestions, the app uses your current location to request local weather from Apple WeatherKit. Beyz does not store your precise coordinates on its servers. The resulting weather context may be included in an AI styling request only after you give AI data-sharing permission.

Usage and diagnostics

We may process feature interactions, operation type and status, token cost, request duration and limited error or diagnostic information. We do not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Support communications

If you contact us, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send.

3. How we use data

We use information to:

• extract clothing items and provide wardrobe features;
• personalize outfit suggestions and responses from Beyz;
• manage subscriptions, Boost purchases and usage allowances;
• restore purchases and prevent fraud or abuse;
• maintain, secure, troubleshoot and improve the service; and
• respond to support and privacy requests.

We do not sell personal information, display third-party ads or track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.

4. AI processing

Before Beyz first shares content with OpenAI, the app identifies OpenAI as the AI provider, explains the information that will be shared and asks for your explicit permission. If you decline, Beyz does not send your wardrobe photo or styling context to OpenAI.

When you use AI-powered features, the wardrobe photo, prompt or relevant wardrobe details needed to answer your request may be sent to OpenAI for processing. We configure supported requests not to be stored by the model provider for training through the API request settings available to us.

The original wardrobe photo is forwarded for the requested operation and is not retained in Beyz object storage. Extracted clothing images may be held temporarily in private storage so the app can download them, then deleted after delivery.

5. Service providers

We disclose only the information necessary to providers that help operate Beyz, including:

• Apple, for App Store distribution and in-app purchases;
• RevenueCat, for subscription and entitlement management;
• OpenAI, for requested AI processing;
• Vercel, for application and API hosting;
• MongoDB, for operational records; and
• Cloudflare R2, for temporary private image delivery.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

We require service providers that handle user data for Beyz to protect it to the same or an equivalent standard described in this policy and required by applicable law.

6. Storage and retention

Your wardrobe catalog and downloaded wardrobe images are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app generally removes this local app data, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior.

Subscription, purchase, allowance, security and limited operational records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Temporary extracted images are deleted after delivery under the workflow described above.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information, or object to certain processing. To make a request, email us using the address below. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request relates to your installation or purchases.

You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. You can control photo access through iOS Settings.

You can review, grant or withdraw permission for OpenAI processing at any time in Beyz under Wear > Profile > AI data sharing. Withdrawing permission prevents future content from being sent to OpenAI unless you grant permission again.

You can delete your Beyz account and associated wardrobe, outfit, history and preference data in the app under Wear > Profile > Delete all my data. Deleting your Beyz account does not cancel an Apple subscription, which must be managed through Apple ID subscription settings.

8. Children’s privacy

Beyz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

9. International data transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual and legal safeguards for these transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Beyz evolves. We will publish the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
